Anna and Ian began writing their first story "The Queen of Spotland" back in 2017, when they were only 10 years old. The book was inspired by their family dog Becky (a.k.a. The Queen of Spotland, a.k.a. Rebecca Dalimattas Beatrice III). Initially, the twin brother and sister focused on Becky's energetic and mischievous behavior, as well as on the importance of being a responsible pet owner.

      With time, however, the plot evolved into a story within a story, including several themes that any young reader will find interesting and relatable. And although "The Queen of Spotland" is Anna and Ian's debut as authors, together they have authored and illustrated two more children's stories. In 2024, Anna also created short animations "Soccer Ball" and "Chaos Space Orbs" for younger kids.
