So, if he is он, she is она, and they is они in Russian, then how would you translate the pronoun it?  This is where there is a big difference between Russian and English. The Russian pronoun оно is always translated as it into English, however the English pronoun it can be translated into Russian sometimes as оно, sometimes as он, and sometimes as она. Why?
